Updating the blog roll....

Hello comrades,

Spring is upon us so we decided to do some spring cleaning on the old blog roll. We removed a couple of blogs that have not been updated for some time and included a couple of blogs we find informative, interesting, good and sometimes makes us chuckle....

The blogs we decided to include are the Shiraz posse that is Voltaires_Priest, Jim D and Tami (good luck with exams btw), The Gaping Silence, Ken MacLeod's The Early Days of a Better Nation and last but certainly not least.. Belledame's Fetch Me MyAxe. Forgot to include the blog Feminists 4 John McDonnell. Very remiss of me.

Perhaps it may come as a surprise that it was my idea to link to Shiraz.

It is not my favourite blog, as I strongly disagree with some of the politics, but hey, it is one of the more interesting and regularly updated hard left blogs.

In the socialist allaince we used to talk about the 80:20 rule. Llet's cooperate on the 80% we agree about, not concentrate on the 20% we disagree about.

Speaking of the 1820 rule...why dont you add me to your blog roll and I'll return the favour?

I'm happy to put you back Ed

I got the impression your blog was no longer being updated.

Oh well, you are gonna be put back on if you take that cheeky tone, comrade...

Honestly, these young people don't know how to be polite nowadays (mutter, mutter)

Gus

we don't really do that reciprocation thing, becasue we try to keep the blog roll short and as varied as possible, giving a wide range of opinion on the left.

So some of the blogs are there, not becauzse we particularly like them but becasue they represent a particular strand of opinion, and some other blogs may be pretty good, but not be there becasue the politicall point of view they express is already covered by a blog we already link to.

Folks, many thanks for the link - and I have linked back to you. Had been meaning to for a while.

And Andy, you're always more than welcome in our comments threads - dissenting opinions are something we thoroughly approve of! :-)
